Businesses and consumers are encouraged to bring up to five boxes or bags of documents to be shredded. (If you have more than five boxes, you're welcome to go through the line again.) Your BBB staff will be on hand to provide identity theft advice. It's the perfect opportunity to get rid of your files at work and home, such as credit card statements, old checks, IRS tax returns among other items.
You don't even have to get out of your car - just drive through and BBB staff will unload your vehicle. You can watch it go right to the Shred It shredding trucks.
Documents to be shredded should be removed from binders, but staples and paper clips are okay to be shredded. No electronics or batteries. Shredded documents will be recycled.
Take advantage of this free service. Last fall, 20,000 pounds of material was shredded locally, which was dropped off by 400 vehicles. For more information, click here or call
