Dear friends, let’s get back to the Dark Continent… Africa!!! Join us on our trip to Egypt on Thursday, April 8th! This menu includes a “Bissara” Fava bean dip, “Koshary” (lentils, tomatoes, onions, rice, and macaroni stew), “Falafel” made with chickpeas, and “Ghorayebah” cookies.
Next stop is Algiers on Wednesday, April 14th! What a menu… “Maakouda (potato bites with a dip), Algerian green bean salad, “Tajine Zitoune” (chicken stew with olives and carrots), and “Mahjouba” (crepes).
Then we will take a boat ride and visit the island of Madagascar on Friday, April 23rd. The island is located approximately 400 kilometers from the coast of East Africa. While there, we will have Garlic Rolls, Steak and Onion Fold Over, Fried Rice, and Banana Bread for dessert!
