The Mosaic Sanctuary Encounter Exhibit will be set up in the Mall at Fairfield Commons parking lot near Panera Bread April 7-15 from 1:00-7:00 pm.
The Mosaic Sanctuary Encounter Exhibit has been touring since 2003 and is based in Harrah, OK. This dedicated team has brought this traveling life-sized replica all across the country, as well as Canada, Hawaii, Honduras, The Bahamas, Jamaica, Guatemala even as far as West Africa and elsewhere. No matter where the exhibit goes, it has generated interest from schools, churches, families and local history buffs. It is an unforgettable learning opportunity!
Station One:
You will gain a structural overview of the Hebrew Tabernacle and its intricate, purposeful design.
Station Two:
Upon entering the courtyard, your guide will explain the humbling symbolism of the Altar of Sacrifice and the Laver.
Station Three:
In the Holy Place, learn the significance its three distinct elements:

Station Four:
Discover the Ark of the Covenant, the main article in the Most Holy Place, and its contents - the rod, table of stone and pot of manna.
Station Five:
The last station in the tour focuses on the special garment worn by the High Priest and how it affected the history of the Hebrews.
