    We are a high energy, people loving, service-based meal prep service and cafe. We are looking for individuals who thrive in that environment to join us! This position will be responsible for executing safely and accurately our entire cafe menu and catering orders. This role definitely requires comfortability in a high energy environment while also paying close attention to quality and food safety. Prior experience and certifications in the food service industry is definitely appreciated in this position. We take pride in making sure every item that leaves our kitchen is safe, high quality, and made with love!

     

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide a welcoming experience by greeting guests, educating on Cafe menu, Grab N’ Go’s and weekly Meal Plans, keeping the guest experience in mind at all times 
    • Prevent guest dissatisfaction by ensuring that tickets are actioned in a timely manner and quality of food is high 
    • Assist in checking truck shipments for discrepancies/shortages 
    • Assist in inventory and ordering systems 
    • Dust and clean shelves, counters, tables, fixtures, merchandise, and cafe equipment 
    • Organize backroom product, cash wrap backstock product, and cafe supplies 
    • Pick up and discard paper, packing material, and any other debris, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment 
    • Assists with prepping, stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
    • Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking and cooking and grilling.
    • Works to ensure orders are completed according to request in a timely manner
    • Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
    • Ensuring the kitchen operation processes and hygiene meet food safety standard and regulations at all times
    • Assist in making weekly Meal Plan meals and Grab N’ Go’s according to instructions listed as needed
    • Demonstrate the behaviors expected of all Clean Eatz Team Members, including a strong bias for action and high levels of maturity and professionalism,and commitments to a respectful workplace, and integrity 
    • Respond to guest concerns quickly, effectively, and courteously. Request management support as needed to ensure that every guest returns and recommends Clean Eatz to others

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 
     

    Physical Demands:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use arms, hands, and fingers for long periods of time including reaching above with arm and hands from ground level to minimum height of 4 feet.  The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects and displays up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Some driving may be required.  

     

    Travel:

    No travel is required - Remote working not available.

    Education and Experience:

    • 6 months restaurant experience preferred

     

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of food safety regulations
    • Knowledge of safe and proper operation of kitchen equipment
     

    Pay:

    Line Cook - $13/hour ($15 guaranteed with tips and the potential for more)

    Line Cook in Training - $11/hour ($13 guaranteed with tips and the potential for more - must be “certified” to move up to line cook)
