Marketing & Advertising
After retiring from the Air Force in 2006, I started a retail craft store in Bellbrook. Without any small business experience, I taught myself the basics of running and marketing my business and became certified in small business consulting. In 2019 I began volunteering with SCORE to help other business owners with their challenges. One of the hurdles business owners face is marketing their business. I did not have much success with traditional marketing. It was either too costly, too broad, or took too much of my time. I eventually found the Town Planner Franchise and became a local franchise owner. So, if you need help understanding how to market your business, how to determine profit and loss of different revenue streams, or help in growing, or even sustaining, your business, I can help. If you want to try a non-traditional marketing campaign, watch the Town Planner video or give me a call.
The bedrock of my marketing philosophy is the seven touches strategy. It is a basic marketing principle that it takes seven “touches” before someone will internalize and/or act upon your call to action. Given the amount of advertising we are bombarded with, some experts believe that number is closer to 13 touches. If you want to learn more about this marketing strategy, let's talk.
