Carroll High School is a Catholic, coeducational school located in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati
Carroll, because of its outstanding academic reputation, attracts students with a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds and family types from over 31 different school districts. Currently 781 students are enrolled at Carroll for the 2011-2012 school year making it the largest private high school in the Dayton area. The typical class size at Carroll is 25-28 students, with a student to faculty ratio of 16 to 1. 66.7% of Carroll’s teachers have a Master’s Degree or beyond.
Carroll offers a comprehensive curriculum with courses taught at three levels of difficulty in the core areas. 23 course credits are required, consisting of programs in English, mathematics, social studies, science, health, physical education, computer science, and religion. Tutoring, peer tutoring, and intervention workshops are also available.
