    About Us

    Crisis Hotline:
    24 hour county wide domestic violence crisis intervention, information and referral for victims, their families or community members

    Safe Housing Program:
    immediate housing and safety for victims of domestic violence and their children

    Outreach Services:
    throughout Greene County including counseling, case management, information, referral, support, education, material aid and transportation in collaboration with other Greene County agencies

    Healthy Homes:
    an eight week education program focused on breaking the cycle of violence in families

    Phase II:
    a longer term group counseling program to help adult victims recover from the trauma of abuse

    a service provided for clients who have been shelter residents or received other FVPC services. Aftercare can involve case management or the aftercare support group

    a therapeutic group for children who have witnessed or experienced family violence

    a weekly small group providing education and counseling for teenagers who have experienced family violence

    Individual Counseling:
    an individual approach to help victims recover from past and/or present abuse

    Healthy Couples, a ten week skill building program for couples seeking to enrich their relationship and increase positive communication

    Community Presentations and Training to educate the public about dating and family violence

    Several other opportunities are available through the Family Violence Prevention Center of Greene County.
