• Beavercreek Chamber COVID-19 Response

    Dear Chamber Member,
With the news of COVID-19, the coronavirus, it's clear many pieces of our daily lives are changing. From personal to business, all of us are taking the necessary precautions where we can.
Here at the Beavercreek Chamber, we are also making changes, but our mission remains the same “Linking Business With Community” which now looks different than it did the beginning of the week. We want you to know we will continue serving our members and community. We can't panic, but we can prepare and begin to take steps toward keeping the Beavercreek community safer.
With that being said, the following Chamber events have been suspended with future dates to be announced:
We will be in contact with those of you who have already purchased tickets for these events.
We want you all to know we are working closely with Greene County Public Health to obtain the most up to date information and how to act accordingly.
During this time, local businesses can be of great help to us. Restaurants and other eateries offer hot, nourishing meals and most include take-out options. Bookstores and local shops are great sources for passing time and keeping busy. Banks are open and can assist with special loan funds. This is a crucial time to remind us all that shopping small and local is necessary, as we want our businesses to be around for years to come. If you want to support a local business, but are not looking to get out, gift certificates are a great purchase to make now and use later. Steps like these will enable local businesses to keep paying staff - your friends and family members - and keep businesses viable in our community. We always encourage you to patronize our Beavercreek Chamber members, our Member Directory can be found HERE.
As many of you know the Beavercreek Chamber includes in our weekly newsletter upcoming events for our members. We understand and know that businesses and organizations are making changes daily to their schedules for this reason we will not be including the event calendar at the bottom of the newsletter as to not create confusion to promoting events that are no longer happening. This will carry through the end of April. These events can still be found on our Event Website, we just encourage you to follow up to confirm the event details.
Board and Committee meetings will continue virtually and out staff will continue to work, be it in the office or from home, to serve our members during this challenging time. Until further notice, the Beavercreek Chamber Office will not be accepting visitors for yours and our staffs safety.
Thank you for understanding and we appreciate your support of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce.
We will be sharing more information in the days and weeks ahead. For now, try to stay calm, stay informed, stay healthy and support your neighbors.
