Have you ever wondered what a day in the life of a police officer is like or wanted to learn more about the Beavercreek Police Department? Now’s your chance!  Registration is open for Citizens Police Academy (CPA) Class 18 scheduled for fall 2020.  Conducted by police department members, along with guest speakers from the law enforcement community, the Academy runs from September 23 through November 11, meeting from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.  Participants will learn about all functions of the police department, including patrol operations, investigations, legal process, and canine unit. Class members will have the opportunity to ride along with patrol officers and visit the firearms range. You must be 18 years or older to apply and must be either a resident or business owner in the City of Beavercreek or Beavercreek Township.
