• Jobs Ohio State Employer Guidance

    Dear Business Leaders,

JobsOhio and its partners remain committed to providing you information and working closely with companies as all of Ohio and our nation confronts the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic. Working together, we can be part of the solution to move Ohio forward.
Governor DeWine, Lt. Governor Husted and Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton have provided clear direction on the urgent need for businesses to take necessary precautions to protect their employees and all Ohioans.
While a vast majority of Ohio businesses have followed this guidance, both the Governor and Dr. Acton remain very concerned that not all companies are confronting this circumstance with the sense of urgency and gravity needed to slow the spread of the virus.
To avoid the potential for further actions that could result in added constraints on Ohio businesses, JobsOhio and its partners urge you to follow the guidance set for by the state.

    • Work FROM HOME whenever possible.
    • TAKE TEMPERATURE OF ASSOCIATES at the beginning of each shift.
    • MAINTAIN 6’ OF DISTANCE between associate work-stations or areas.
    • PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE: Wash your hands, avoid touching your face, and disinfect often work areas, door handles and other frequently used items.
We ask that you please share this critical information with your associates and your supply chain so we can arm as many Ohioans with the information they need to guide us through this challenge.

We must all do our part to slow the spread and impact of the COVID-19 virus. We are confident that Ohio businesses are positioned to work through these issues effectively so that all of us can move forward through this pandemic and come out stronger on the other side.

    Very respectfully,
