Life Essentials is once again hosting Socks for Seniors, a community-based sock drive providing new socks to nursing homes and senior shut-ins in time for the holidays.
Everyone in the community is invited to participate in this feel-good, low-cost holiday project. You can participate by collecting new adult pairs of socks in your workplace, with your family, and with anyone else in your network.
Each year, we host a new sock drive along with many local community partners. Last year, close to 3,000 pairs of new socks were collected and there were lots of smiles as they were distributed at local nursing homes!
This year’s collection campaign will run from October 31 to December 5th, with distribution celebrated during the winter holiday season.
Donated pairs of new socks can be dropped off or mailed to:
- Life Essentials, 40 South Perry Street, Suite 130, Dayton OH 45402
- First American Title Insurance Company, 3800 Pentagon Boulevard, Suite 120, Dayton OH 45431.
To make other delivery arrangements, please contact Andrea Green at 937-586-0545 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please help us collect socks this holiday season. Bring a warm smile and a fuzzy warm pair of socks to a lonely senior. They’re worth a pair socks… don’t you think?
