GCPH Releases Guidance for Reopening Greene County Schools
GREENE COUNTY, OH –Greene County Public Health (GCPH) officials just released their reopening plan for Greene County Schools for the 2020-2021 school year. The plan can be found on the website at www.gcph.info, as well as the agency’s social media platforms.
VIEW GUIDANCE DOCUMENT
The plan includes:
• general guidelines on reopening and what schools should consider
• daily symptom assessment
• a plan for schools to follow and steps to take in the event of a positive case, including how it should be communicated to families
• cleaning and sanitizing
• water systems
• classroom occupancy
• food service
• restricted activities
• a listing of helpful resources for schools to use
• a sample letter that the school can modify to send home to families in the event of a positive case.
