FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
July 2, 2019
Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce
The Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce a Tornado Business Recovery Fund for Beavercreek Chamber members. The Chamber intends to support its affected members through this long recovery process. This is another tangible way to show Beavercreek Strong and fulfill our mission of Linking Business with Community.
We are grateful to Dave Dennis Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for their significant gift to this Fund, adding to what the Beavercreek Chamber Board has already set aside. Dave Dennis redirected their major sponsorship of our Golf Outing, the first business to do so since we canceled our Outing to focus our attention on continued recovery efforts. Other businesses and individuals have since joined them, and you can see the entire list on our Tornado Business Recovery Fund website. Please join us in thanking them for standing strong with Beavercreek. If a business is interested in supporting the fund please contact the Beavercreek Chamber at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Chamber Tornado Business Recovery Fund offers a one-time grant up to $2,000 for Beavercreek Chamber member businesses affected by the May 27, 2019 tornadoes in the Dayton and Beavercreek areas. A qualified business must be a chamber member in good standing prior to May 27, 2019.
A chamber business can use this grant to recover costs related to either property damage (capital assets, equipment, inventory insurance gaps, etc.) or economic damage (loss of business, payroll recovery, etc.).
Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2019, 5:00pm at the Beavercreek Chamber office or email@example.com. The chamber will notify all applicants by August 19, 2019 and distribute grants no later than August 31, 2019.
