The Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1966 when a group of 65 local businesses had the vision and foresight to anticipate the future growth of business in the area. Today the Chamber continues to honor its founders by promoting both the civic and commercial progress of our community.
The Beavercreek Chamber is organized to advance the general business community by
A. Contributing to economic development efforts for commerce, industry, and the professions and by maintaining and strengthening a healthy business climate in Beavercreek, Ohio
B. Acting as advocates at local, state, and national government levels for free market approaches to ensure a strong economic business climate for our members
C. Providing investors with value-added services, networking, and promotional opportunities
D. Providing members the opportunity to participate in fulfilling the goals and mission of the Beavercreek Chamber by taking positions and crafting strategies to improve the business climate in Beavercreek
Beavercreek businesses and residents enjoy an exciting and vibrant business environment. Much of this is due to our area being the home of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the Air Force Institute of Technology, and the Air Force Material Command, as well as the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.
Our performing arts community starts with local programming by the Beavercreek Community Theater, and from there expands to the Victoria Theatre Association and Schuster Center, The Loft Theatre, Dayton Ballet, Dayton Philharmonic, and the Dayton Opera. Convenient access to four major highways--Interstates 70, 75, 675 and 71--offer a quick commute to entertainment and cultural activities in Columbus and Cincinnati.
Educational opportunities abound, with Wright State University, Clark State Community College, Sinclair Community College, Antioch University Midwest, and Cedarville University as just a few of the colleges within easy commuting distance. Beavercreek City Schools consistently receive the highest rankings on the Ohio Department of Education's State Report Card.
The Beavercreek Chamber supplies many opportunities for connections and collaboration between businesses, residents, schools, and government, and increases community awareness of the products and services our Partners provide to the region. We conduct professional networking and community events throughout the year, including our monthly Lunch & Learn and Business Links, Celebration of Excellence Gala, Annual Legislative Breakfast, Annual Golf Classic, and The Taste of Greene County.
The Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce continues to grow as a thriving organization of businesses, non-profits, groups and individuals of all different types with the goal of linking professionals and businesses with the community.
