The public is invited to attend the community’s observance of Memorial Day. The City of Beavercreek Memorial Day Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 29 at 2 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 1911 N. Fairfield Road. The ceremony will honor the memory of those men and women who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Major General William T. Cooley will be the guest speaker. Major General Cooley is the Commander, Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Wright Brass will perform patriotic selections.
Parking is available on Fairwood Drive and at the Church of the Nazarene. Limited bleacher seating is available; lawn chairs are welcome.
