      Mike completed a 20-year career in the United States Army, Corps of Engineers before coming to First Command. He served in various command, staff and teaching positions in the United States, Italy and Germany. Mike is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and University of Illinois, and adjunct faculty member in financial services at Hondros College. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER? certificant and member of the Financial Planning Association, he holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses plus life, health and property-and-casualty insurance licenses for Ohio and Indiana.

      A member of the Notre Dame Club of Dayton, Mike enjoys the banjo, cycling, gardening, brewing beer and outdoor cooking.
